Pay Per Click (PPC) Management
Pay per Click (PPC) is the most popular pricing scheme for Internet ads. As the name implies, advertisers pay the publisher only if a user clicks on the ad.
Though PPC can be applied to any type of ad, it's most often associated with text ads and those are most often associated with Google. Google ads appear at the top and on the right hand side of a search results page and on many thousands of sites who use the Google ad network.
Getting started with PPC is deceptively easy. Within half an hour or so you can create an account and have ads running. The challenge is to make the ads produce traffic at a price you can afford to pay.
The ease of setting up an account hides a highly complex and competitive system that will practically ensure failure without either a great deal of study and experimentation or expert guidance.
To be successful with PPC you have to study the words people are using to find your products or services, create compelling ads for the keywords you identify, link the ads to appropriate landing pages, decide on a bidding strategy, and continually adjust all of these elements as you examine the results from your ads.
