Internet Marketing is a term used more by traditional businesses than the Internet industry. If you look at ad agency sites they prefer interactive or digital to describe what they do. There’s some merit to that idea. Is a mobile app more Internet or interactive? Rather than mount a crusade for our favorite term, we’ll just accept Internet Marketing as the most common usage and define it broadly.
